Välkommen till vår akvarieblogg

Vi är två akvarie-entusiater som för ett år sedan byggde vårt drömakvarium.
Genom att sätta akvariet mitt i vardagsrummet, lyckades vi skapa en rumsavdelare.
I vår blogg kommer vi skriva mycket om våra egna fiskar och akvarium.
Här kommer vi dela med oss och hoppas att få tips på allt som rör akvarier och dess invånare.
Vi föder även upp fiskar, mest ciklider, i en liten skala.

Hoppas vi kan få glädje av den här bloggen tillsammans med er.

We are two aquarium enthusiasts who built our dream aquarium a year ago.

By putting the tank in the middle of the living room, we managed to create a space divider.

In our blog we will write a lot about our own fish and aquarium.

Here we will share with you and hope to get tips on everything about aquariums and its inhabitants.

We also breed fish, mostly cichlids, on a small scale.

We hope you'll enjoy this as much as we do.

Akvariet är på 920 liter. 220cm långt, 95cm högt och 50cm brett. Glaset är 19mm tjock och optiwhite.

The size of the tank is 920l. Length 220cm, height  95cm and width 50cm. The glass is 19mm thick and optiwhite.

Den här sidan av akvariet är från vårt vardagsrum där vi har två likadana soffor mittemot varandra.
Eftersom vardagsrummet är vitt och vi ville gå på helt vitt, målade vi den här sidan av akvariemöbeln med vit väggfärg.
Till vänster om akvariet syns vår egentillverkade bokhylla.

This side of the aquarium is from our living room where we have two identical sofas opposite each other.
Because the living room is white and we wanted to go completely white, we painted this side of the tank stand with white wall paint.
To the left of the aquarium is our homemade bookshelf.

På andra sidan har vi platsbyggt ett skrivbord och den här delen utgör vårt kontor.
Som ni kan se, har vi lagt in LED-belysning i skrivbordet.

On the other side, we have built a desk and this section is our office.
As you can see, we have embedded LED lighting in the desktop.

Pennstället är också ett akvarium men väldigt mini.

The pen stand is also an aquarium but very tiny.

Akvariemöbeln på skrivbordssidan pryds av laminatgolv.

The tank stand/furniture on the desk side is decorated with laminate flooring.

Från kortsidan sett. Här kan man också se hur olika de båda rummen är inredda och varför vi har hållit oss till olika material för de båda sidorna.

Det är givetvis svårt att jobba och få någonting gjort när man har allt det här vackra att titta på. Det kan också ibland kännas som att någon tittar på en, om ni vet vad jag menar. De tycker om att titta på oss lika mycket som att vi tycker om att titta på dem.

Obviously, it's hard to work and get anything done when you have all this beauty to distract you. It may also sometimes feel like someone is watching you, if you know what I mean. 
They like to look at us as much as we like to watch them.
