Både honan och hannen Steatocranus Casuarius har pannpuckel men hannens är mycket större än honan.
Han är mycket större hela han. Jag tror han är ca 12 cm. Hon är kanske 7 cm.

Både mamma och pappa vaktar äggen. Pickan som flickan heter är mest i grottan och pappa jagar bort inkräktare utanför.
Both mom and dad guard the eggs. Pickan (The Gun) is the female's name. She's in the cave and dad is mostly chasing away intruders outside.

Det här är dag tre. Man ser att äggen är levande och att de kommer kläckas när som helst.
This is day three. You can see that the eggs are alive and that they will hatch at any time.
De har lagt ägg en gång förut men vi tror de blev uppätna för de försvann plötsligt. Här ser man hur mamma och pappa flyttar bebisarna allt eftersom de kläcks.

Sedan har de försökt lägga ägg flera gånger. Men de väljer alltid ställen där andra kommer och stökar. Här ser man Pucko gräva en grop för äggläggning men han fick inte behålla gropen för vår vampyrpleco som tyckte miljön tillhörde henne.
They have tried to lay eggs several times. But they always choose places where others would come and bother them. Here you see Pucko digging a pit for egg laying, but he couldn't keep the pit. Our Vampire Pleco thought that, that part of the tank belonged to her.
Amazon Puffer bryr han sig inte om ifall de inte kommer för nära. Då tar han tag i deras stjärt och kastar bort dem i ett knyck.
Nu längtar vi tills de har yngel! Uppdaterar efter kläckning.
